Will any one answer?

Politics deals with policies.!? Is that so? Then as the future of tomorrow, shouldn't students be a part of that policy? Then why is the honourable High Court condemning polities in campuses?

Why the A.S.I at changanassery had to die? Was it because his killeres had some scores to settle with this man?Is tnat why he's brutally finished with a blow behind his head?

Was he killed owing to political motives? As the police claims, are those students the real killers? Isn't all this because of an election in the campus, that should've been all but a friendly competation between peers? Has it grown to such levels so as to kill? Then shouldn't politics be banned in campuses?

These are a few of the questions that crossed my mind going through some recent newspapers.I am sure many parents whose children are studying in colleges also tend to as these questions.Who are to be blamed? Can these questions go unanswered? Is there anybody answerable?

Nivil,
I think this post should have came under jack's blog, but not with life@gec. Anyway nice post.

No need to ban politics in campus. But it should be with in the limits. I dont know how is it possible to maintain this boundary limits.
It's the govt. authorities and college management who are responsible to decide limits and boundaries. Right??

We are blessed to be the part of history of 'redfort of GEC', a college without any political crisis and all. What you say??

actually i thought a'bt it... then decided it's best here...

acyually, i think it's dis gr8 red fort of ours that gives me the thoughts. jus think.. our college's so free,so serene n someplace else wat all attrocities are happening.

n i think, rather than the authorities deciding the limits, i think it's we, the students, who've to set the limits.right?

Yes.. you are right. But 'how?' - that is the problem.
Anyway, No use of discussing this matter among ourselves.

Anyway, ThankGod that we are the students of GEC.

setting limits to politics in campus has always been a topic of heated debates and no fruitful result has been derived of it as of now... its just impossible to do so.
campus politics is absolutely necessary as that in its entirety is our voice to the management and the world outside.and i do agree to your view that we the students should be let to present our opinion regarding the existence of politics. however think of those campuses where politics is nothing but bloodshed and violence. the students there definitley woud say a big NO to politics unlike us who are under the warm affection of our Redfort comrades. Hence it will remain a burning issue and its better to let it be decided by the govt and law bodies and lets wait and see..
P.S : opinions above are my personal views as an individual and are not to be a matter of debate or discussion anywhere.

Politics in Campus...
ya it is a debate which has no answer anywhere around a decade from now... Maybe then, if the situation improves we can comment upon something..
We, at THE REDFORT ,as mere students, hav witnessed till now only the fruits and literally not aware of the difficulties and troubles faced by those who made them available..( Nivil, dont u think so??)
Priyass, who said ther is no crisis here..... mayb coz we rnt knowing any... Juz ask sami(only a member as if for now) and he mite b able to cite many incidents u havent even dreamt of....
We are amidst a battle which has no objective(to be frank).. One party blaming another when both know each other, both not guilty.. luring pupils to their side by echoing their ethics, also wat they cud achieve good by their activities...( never ever they even hint of the wrong ones)
See juz as u put a title of Politics in campus, it led to so many other matters.. thats y I too go with devidas, this heated debate has no solid answer.. so we can only hope the govt does watever is best for the situation and wat it demands, after getting the status quo... All this violence and bloodshed will continue and maybe become more intense, till a point when even our judiciary and govt is stricter than wat is there in US now...

NIvilan, I heard the latest post mortem result is that the ASI died of a cardiac arrest....
Dont u remember the movie 'Sandesham'......
( I hope wat I meant to express has been done)

And I honestly feel 99% of all the clashes that take place has directly or indirectly links to personal vendetta.. No more are we living with Cheguvera or Karl Marx , when hatred and enemity is upon an institution and not an individual.. When ther are more than one party in a college, it will definitly lead to clashes.. u can cite lots of causes for that, no need mentioning.. But that can't be a reason to eliminate politics from campuses..
Only thing I wish for is that campuses shudnt be a breeding ground for criminals from outside( juz for eg case of our own campus' history)
